§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health (Baroness Cumberlege)All awards are made by the Advisory Committee on Distinction Awards taking account of recommendations made by Regional C Awards Committees and Higher Awards Committees in respect of consultants in England and Wales and by the Scottish sub-committee in respect of consultants in Scotland.
