To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give consideration to allowing the sale of national lottery tickets in licensed betting offices.

I have been asked to reply.

I have no plans to reconsider the regulations made under section 12 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 which prohibit the sale of national lottery tickets in licensed betting offices.
