To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what sums have been disbursed by the International Monetary Fund to Russia.

Russia joined the IMF in June 1992. In August 1992, the IMF disbursed 1 billion under a first credit tranche drawing. In July 1993 a further drawing of $1.5 billion was made under the systematic transformation facility.
