§ Mr. FreemanThe cost of the London section of the route is estimated to be £670 million—fourth quarter 1992 prices—that is, £645 million for the base route plus £25 million for a package of options including a short box at Stratford. Union Railways estimates that the additional capital cost, including station works, access roads, parking, land and property and management costs, of providing a combined international and domestic station at Stratford is £105 million, while an international only station would cost £93 million.
