§ Dr. MawhinneyRegional health authorities are responsible for managing the general practitioner fundholding scheme in their areas. Nationally, 25 per cent. of the population is covered by GP fundholders. In Mersey region, this is 35 per cent. Information by constituency is not available and could be determined only at disproportionate cost.
