§ Mr. HansonTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make it his policy to allow A-level students to sit examinations in Welsh if they so request.
§ Sir Wyn RobertsIt remains our general policy that pupils taught through the medium of Welsh should be assessed through the medium of Welsh. Pupils entry to individual subject examinations is a matter of decision by the school governing body. The range of examinations offered by an individual examining body is a matter for the board itself.
