To ask the President of the Board of Trade whether customers of Tours Direct and New Vista Travel were covered by the legislation covering package travel; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 24 January 1994]: In so far as Tours Direct and New Vista Travel were offering packages, customers will have been covered by the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.
