Mr. Redmond

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if she will publish the figures in hectares for(a) set-aside, (b) pulses, (c) oilseed rape and (d) cereals for each year since 1988 which were used to calculate the base area in Yorkshire and Humberside.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 3 December 1993 to the hon. Member for Angus, East (Mr. Welsh), regarding the calculation of the base area in England,Official Report, column 850. There is no separate base area for Yorkshire and Humberside.
