To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether his Department prepared proposals for the second preparatory committee meeting for the fifth review and renewal conference of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty held in New York from 17 January.

My Department continues to be closely involved with the United Kingdom's participation in the work of the second preparatory committee.
