Mr. Don Foster

To ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will list the grants given to quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisations by his Department in each year from 1985.

The grants given to the executive non-departmental public bodies sponsored by the Department are listed in the table. Those made to the research councils and to the Sports Council, formerly sponsored by the then Department of Education and Science and now by the Office of Public Service and
