§ Mr. WinnickTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whar is the Govertment's policy towards 313W council tenants purchasing the property they live in with the assistance of a loan from a private individual to whom they are not related.
§ Sir George YoungCouncil tenants have the same freedom as other home buyers to finance the purchase of their homes under the right to buy from whatever source they choose. The Department's advisory booklet "Your Right to Buy Your Home" encourages tenants to take independent legal advice before proceeding with their purchase.
