To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make a statement on her Department's negotiations with representatives of the dental profession.

Dr. Mawhinney

The Government have a statutory duty to consult representatives of the dental profession when it proposes changes to their remuneration. Officials of the Department of Health also meet representatives of the dental profession informally, frequently and as the need arises.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will publish the response to the Bloomfield report on oral health strategy.
