§ Dr. GodmanTo ask the secretary of State for Scotland (1) what is the number of prosecutions of cases since December 1991 of consensual homosexual acts where(a) both of the participants were aged under 16 years, (b) where one of the participants was aged under 16 years and the other aged between 16 years and 18 years and (c) where one of the participants was aged under 16 years and the other aged between 18 years and 21 years; and if he will make a statement;
(2) pursuant to his answer of 8 February, Official Report, column 180, since December 1991, how many prosecutions have been taken out of cases of consenting homosexual acts where both of the participants were over 16 years but one or both were under 18 years; and if he will make a statement.
§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 21 February 1994]: Information is not held centrally on the ages of the participants involved in consensual homosexual acts involving one or more parties aged below 21 which have been the subject of a prosecution.
