To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will consult the Welsh Language Board regarding proposed changes to the national curriculum in Wales.

The Curriculum and Assessment Authority for Wales, which supersedes the Curriculum Council for Wales on 1 April, will undertake consultations this year on proposals for revised national curriculum orders. I shall ensure that the authority consults the Welsh Language Board on revisions to the National Curriculum Order for Welsh.
