To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to involve the private sector in the work of GCHQ; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hurd

For many years GCHQ has used private sector contractors to provide various support services. There are no plans to change this practice.
