To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will defer the introduction of the Children (Northern Ireland) Order, pending the outcome of the review of the Children Act 1989.

No. The Government are not undertaking a review of the Children Act 1989 although its provisions are monitored and some changes have been made since its enactment.
