§ Mr. Bayley
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many Inland Revenue forms were redesigned in 1992–93.

§ Mr. Dorrell
The Inland Revenue's corporate communications office, which is responsible for all the main tax forms, redesigned 1,148 forms in 1992–93.
Figures are not available centrally for forms which are not the responsibility of the corporate communications office.
