To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what is his Department's estimate of the number of people who will be aged(a) 65 years and over and (b) 80 years and over for each year to 2010.

[pursuant to his reply, 28 January 1994, c. 446]: The information contained a typographical error. The estimate for the number of people—in thousands—aged 80 and over in 2001 should read "2,499".
