§ Mr. AtkinsNineteen universities and research institutes responded to the discussion document on Britain's carbon dioxide programme that was published in December 1992. In addition, many universities and research institutes were invited to attend workshops in March 1993 and a conference in May 1993, to discuss the options for the completion of Britain's carbon dioxide programme. A list of these respondents and invitees is set out.
