What is their policy on the export of arms to each of the republics of the former Soviet Union.

CSCE embargoes on arms transfers to Armenia and Azerbaijan are in force. We examine export licence applications for the other FSU countries including the Baltic states on a case-by-case basis, taking account of strategic, proliferation, political, economic and human rights considerations and of our international commitments.
