To ask the Secretary of State for Wales when the chairman of the Welsh Development Agency provided a reference for the former chief executive of the Welsh Development Agency to the Further Education Funding Council.

I have arranged for the chairman's office to reply to the hon. Member and for a copy of that letter to be placed in the Library of the House.
