§ Mr. Morgan
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many "Dear Accounting Officer" letters his Department has written to his non-departmental public bodies in each year since 1984.

§ Mr. Lang
"Dear Accounting Officer" letters are issued by the Treasury. Where appropriate my departments draw the contents of "Dear Accounting Officer" letters to the attention of non-departmental public bodies which they sponsor.
