§ Mr. OppenheimEstimates from the spring 1994 labour force survey for Great Britain show that there were 732,000 employees on fixed-term contracts, 3,208,000 people who were self-employed, and 6,006,000 employees and self-employed working part-time. In total, there were 9,076,000 people who belonged to one or more of these categories.
