§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe President of the United Nations Security Council issued a statement on 30 November in response to the Secretary-General's report on the situation in the refugee camps in Zaire and the proposals put forward in that report. The United Kingdom268W played a constructive role in the negotiation of that statement, which it fully supports. A copy will be placed in the House of Commons Library shortly.
