§ Mr. Gwilym JonesProvisional results from the 1994 June agriculture and horticultural census show that there were an estimated 64,500 people working on holdings in Wales on 1 June. This total comprises: all farmers, partners and directors and their spouses; salaried managers; family and hired workers normally employed on a holding for some part of each month throughout the year, and any seasonal or casual workers employed at the time of the census.
