§ Mr. KaufmanTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to his answer of 25 April,Official Report, column 12, with regard to correspondence concerning Lin Qi Qun, if he will investigate the state of affairs in his office which has led him to the statement in his answer that his officials have asked for copies following the faxing of such copies to his office three weeks before; if he will take steps to improve procedures in his office following its loss of the original correspondence last December and several reminders sent 364W following that date; and if he will now reply to the right hon. Member for Manchester, Gorton without further delay.
