HL Deb 25 April 1994 vol 554 c21WA
Lord Lester of Herne Hill

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will place in the Library of the House of Lords copies of the concluding observations of the United Nations Human Rights Committee following its examination of the United Kingdom's reports under Article 40 of the International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

Copies of the report and summary records of the Third Periodic Report are in the Libraries of both Houses. The Fourth Periodic Report of the United Kingdom and its Dependent Territories is due to be submitted to the UN on 18 August 1994. Copies of the report will be placed in the Libraries of both Houses after submission. When the Human Rights Committee has examined the report and the concluding observations are published, copies of these will also be placed in the Libraries.
