§ Mr. RedwoodThe work associated with securing an adequate supply of Welsh language classroom materials, previously done by the Welsh language education development committee—WLEDC—and the Welsh Office is being done by the Curriculum and Assessment Authority for Wales. ACAC appointments include former WJEC staff previously working for the WLEDC. These appointments, and other arrangements that have been made, should ensure that ACAC is able to benefit from the experience and understanding gained by the WLEDC.
