asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the World Health Authority has asked the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion of the legal status of the use of nuclear weapons.

Following a resolution passed by the World Health Assembly on 14 May 1993, the World Health Organisation has requested "an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice on the status in international law of the use of nuclear weapons".
