§ Sir Peter HordernThe National Audit Office's budget of £36.5 million for 1994–95 includes provision both for financial audit of Government Departments, executive agencies, and a wide range of other public sector bodies, and for value for money investigations. As my hon. Friend will know, the forward investigation programme of the National Audit Office is a matter for the Comptroller and Auditor General and the Public Accounts Committee.
