§ Baroness CumberlegeThe Government have implemented the recommendations of the Clothier Committee whereby doctors are only allowed to dispense in certain circumstances to patients who live in rural areas, at a distance of more than a mile from the pharmacy. We continue to monitor these arrangements carefully.
