To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security in what year rate rebates, community charge benefit and statutory sick pay started to be counted as part of the public DSS departmental expenditure.

Expenditure on rate rebates, community charge benefit and statutory sick pay have been included in DSS departmental expenditure figures since 1982–83, 1989–90 and 1990–91 respectively.
