§ Sir George YoungIn total we have received over 9,000 responses to the consultation paper. Our proposals cover a range of issues, and the more considered the responses have addressed each separately; consequently there is no simple distinction between those supporting the proposals and the remainder.
My Department has on occasions received substantially more representations on other matters of widespread interest.
