To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many hill farmers in England have not yet received their hill livestock compensation allowance in respect of 1993.

Of 14,012 claims so far received in England in respect of the 1993 hill livestock compensatory allowances scheme, 396 are still outstanding. This repreents 2.8 per cent. of claims received. Claims are still being received in respect of 1993, albeit in small numbers.
