§ Mr. Menzies CampbellTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence what steps he proposes to take to commemorate the 50th anniversary in 1994 of the battle of Arnhem.
§ Mr. HanleyThe anniversary of the battle of Arnhem is commemorated each year in the Netherlands. The British Government will be represented at an appropriate level at the 50th anniversary in 1994. In addition, the occasion will be marked by a parachute drop by members of 5 Airborne Brigade.
