To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to his answer of 18 October,Official Report, c.146, concerning enforcement of Isle of Man driving disqualifications in the United Kingdom, what consideration he has given to introducing such a policy; and for what reason he has decided not to do so.

None, but we understand that the Isle of Man authorities are considering whether the Isle of Man should seek a system of reciprocal recognition of driving disqualifications with the United Kingdom. We are ready to consider any proposals which they put to us.
