§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe Department's aim is to promote a free and flexible labour market to encourage employment in the Northern region as elsewhere. The Employment Service and the five Northern training and enterprise councils deliver a wide range of employment, enterprise and training programmes to help unemployed people in the Northern region find the best and quickest route back to employment.
