§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryThe agenda for the Council of Europe summit meeting in Vienna on 8 to 9 October had two broad themes: (I) The role of the Council of Europe in the new Europe and (II) action relating to the strengthening of democracy, respect for human rights and the rule of law.
I shall arrange to place in the Library a copy of the speech made by my right honourable noble and learned Friend the Lord Chancellor who led the British delegation.
