To ask the President of the Board of Trade what discussions he has had with the Confederation of British Industry about progress of the single market.

Mr. Needham

The President of the Board of Trade attended and addresed the CBI national conference on 15 November. Officials have frequent and intensive discussions with the CBI about ensuring the proper functioning of the single market.
