HC Deb 05 November 1993 vol 231 c594W
Mr. Mackinlay

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of the impact on United Kingdom-Polish relations of the suspension of the permit for Lot Airlines to land at Heathrow.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

I am naturally concerned at the suspension of air services between Britain and Poland. This is in neither country's interests. It is essentially a matter for resolution between the two airlines. We are making every effort however to help secure a settlement to this commercial dispute under the terms of the existing air services agreement.
