To ask the President of the Board of Trade if his Department's stated intention in its White Paper, "The Prospects for Coal" to work towards a figure of 1,500 MW of new electricity generating capacity from renewable sources for the United Kingdom as a whole by 2000, relates to declared net generating capacity.
