§ Mr. AitkenMethods to ensure the monitoring of safety of all facilities, including older ones, at AWE sites involve the use of inspections, reviews and audits carried out by a number of bodies, including the compliance office and the regulatory authorities concerned with the environmental, health and safety aspects of the sites. These arrangements are in addition to the detailed management, monitoring and audit responsibilities carried out by the contractor (Hunting-BRAE) under the requirements laid down in the term contract.
