§ Dr. BerryTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will provide for each of the last four cyclical downturns the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development estimates of the output gap at the trough of the cycle, as a percentage of trend gross domestic product, for the United States of America, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. NelsonOECD estimates of the output gap for the major seven economies in the current cycle and at the troughs of the previous three economic cycles were published in the OECD "Economic Outlook 52" (December 1992).
