§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe BBC World Service is funded on a triennial basis by grants-in-aid administered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. There are no plans for any change to this arrangement.
Grants-in-aid in the current triennium—1991–92 to 1993–94—have risen from £159.58 million to £175.86 million this year. Funding for the 1994–95 to 1996–97 triennium is subject to the outcome of this year's public expenditure survey.
