To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what action her Department is taking to facilitate the employment of those formerly working in Ministry of Defence establishments in Plymouth and the south-west of England.

The Employment Service and training and enterprise councils deliver a wide range of employment, enterprise and training progammes to facilitate the employment prospects of unemployed people. These are available to all unemployed people, including those formerly working in the Ministry of Defence establishments in Plymouth and the south-west of England.
