§ Mr. JackAlthough we are still awaiting replies, the initial responses to the partnership decision document were encouraging, and give us reason to believe that most areas should be in a position to submit their initial plans by the 30 June deadline. This timing was endorsed by the National Partnership Forum and received the full support of the representative from the Association of Chief Officers of Probation, who was of the opinion that such a deadline would be acceptable to probation areas.
