§ Mr. Home Robertson
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his statement of 1 April,Official Report, column 505, if the costs of enforcing the no-fly zone under Security Council resolution 816 will be met by the United Nations or from national defence budgets.

§ Mr. Archie Hamilton
Costs will be met by participating nations. In the case of the United Kingdom, they will be charged to the defence budget.
