§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe £65 million loan arrangement signed with the Indonesian Government in April 1993 provided finance at 3.5 per cent. interest, repayable over 25 years with a seven-year grace period.
The Samarinda electric power project in east Kalimantan is likely to utilise most of the £65 million. The Indonesian electricity authority will award a contract for equipment supply after a competition between a number of British suppliers.
