To ask the President of the Board of Trade what are the United Kingdom's principal export markets for heavy electrical goods.

Mr. Needham

The United Kingdom's principal markets for such goods in recent years have been the USA, Germany and other countries within the European Community. I understand that several large contracts have also been concluded recently with countries in the Pacific rim area.
