To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of 11 May,Official Report, columns 457–58, on residential properties at Biggin Hill, what is the total housing stock belonging to his Department at Biggin Hill; and if those being sold have been offered to housing associations.

My Department owns a total of 145 residential properties at Biggin Hill. A one-year lease on the 73 surplus properties was offered to housing associations but was not taken up. The properties are now being marketed and housing associations will be invited to bid for them.
